Stating the bleeding obvious

A housing study, commissioned by Exeter City Council, Devon County Council and other local councils and authorities, says an estimated 10,000 new affordable homes are needed in Devon in the next five years.

The study said the new houses in Exeter, Torbay, mid-Devon, Teignbridge and east Devon must be affordable.

According to the results of the study, house prices in the region are also increasing year on year.

A further study is to be set-up to find out where babies come from.
