Debenhams on fire

Exeter city centre is in total chaos this afternoon as fire appliances and ambulances blocked off the front of the Debenhams building.

Three fire engines were parked outside, with hoses running ominously inside the building. An ambulance was also standing by and we don't know if anyone has been hurt, although if there was a fire there are bound to be a few folk from suffering smoke inhalation.

After the recent spate of people being stuck in the lift it could be more elderly folk making jiggy between floors, but it's more likely someone was having a craft fag in the supply cupboard and set fire to the escalators.
