Another fine mess
Like some kind of Biblical plagues the schools have endured insect infestations and scorching heat, but now are facing flooding following a bit of light precipitation.
St Luke's Science and Sports College have cancelled lessons and the rising water levels have put the school's computers completely out of action.
So Carillion have been called in yet again to get the shambles of a school system back in line, but surely the council should be fining them for every incident and every time they are responsible for disrupting the teaching in the schools.
If you're after those who are ultimately responsible then look no further.
Particularly worth noticing is Steve Mogford, a Non Executive Director who, at the age of 50 "has been a director of BAE Systems for over six years and is currently the Group Executive Director responsible for UK naval sector consolidation. He brings the Board considerable experience as a senior business leader who has managed major capital projects in a FTSE 50 company."
It's also worth noting his hair is so flyaway it needs Photoshopping. Blessed with a face only a mother could love.
