Shitty city bang-bang!

Details have been released of an incident that took place in Exeter Police Station when an annoyed policeman fired a round off into his squad car.

The officer involved is believed to have been annoyed at the car which was constantly cutting out and stalling. It came to a crux when the force mechanics, having given it a full work-over, gave it the all clear only to have it cut out again in the station.

The incident took place in the secure area behind the police station. The officer was heard reciting lines from Taxi driver and pointing his gun at the vehicle in a 'gangsta style' before 'pumping it's bitch ass full of lead'.

No one was hurt at the time, but a source who asked not to be named, said it was bound to happen sooner or later.

Supt Richard Baker of Devon and Cornwall Police, said: "Incidents such as this are very rare and are treated seriously.

"Safety is paramount and the force will look to see if any lessons can be learnt from this incident."
