MET Office sacks apprentice

She tuned down the role as Sir Alan Sugar's apprentice, a £100,000 job in favour of staying in Exeter, but now the MET Office have said Katie Hopkins has failed to meet the requirements of her role as a brand consultant.
This is a further blow to the woman who would do anything to get what she wanted, including another woman's husband, as she comes under the spotlight more than ever.
Now she's lost her £90k job as well, Katie may be regretting the decision to take part in the show.
A spokeswoman for the Met Office, said: "Katie was on a one-year probation like all new entrants and was constantly being assessed on performance, conduct, time-keeping and attendance."
Was a 9-week holiday to get a new job just one step too far, or is her business acumen something the MET Office are trying to distance themselves from?
