Harrowing rescue ordeal is finaly over

Firemen were called out to Bonhay Road in St David's yesterday when a passer by noticed someone calling for help from one of the city's culverts.

The Express and Echo today tells the story of the rescue effort in what we believe to be an award-winning piece of writing.

They were unable to get an interview with the rescuee, but I'm sure you'll agree, it's a first-class example of local journalism.
