Sidwell lights still not working

After nearly a month of roadworks and chaos, the traffic lights in Sidwell Street are still as much use as a chocolate teapot.

Exeter City Council have been relatively restrained when it came to refitting the lights as only one set per street are visible (unlike the Pinhoe Sainsbury's junction which has over 20!). It's enough to make you think that someone on the council has shares in Microsense Systems (the folks installing the lights).

Until they get it all sorted you can still amuse yourself by watching the idiots who stop just ahead of the large red signs and sit there with blank looks on their face when they realise they have no way to see what colour the lights actually show.

If you manage to get stuck behind one of the prats just wait till you see a bus coming the other way and beep your horn, shout incoherently and gesture wildly toward the lights and watch them plow headlong into the oncoming traffic.
