Businesses should ensure that all security procedures are followed and no windows are left open or doors unlocked (especially on the ground floors).
It has been known in the past for them to enter the buildings that were accessible, although it's thought that the recent swell in numbers is due to Plymouth County Council pushing them out of Drake's centre.
Businesses are being urged to 'talk-up' Bristol and mention how 'homeless-friendly' the city is, in a hope that they might just move on to somewhere else.
