South West ripoff

After an increase in profits of £19.3 million from last year you've got to wonder how they can justify a further 12% increase in water rates.

The total profits for this year are expected to be even higher than the £141.5 operating profits of last year.

Of course these profits help to pay the dividends to the shareholders (wankers) rather than being paid back to the customers who actually pay the bills. Not because we want to, but because we HAVE to.

In the past 5 years the share prices have sky-rocketed [1] giving more and more of our hard earned cash to the fat cats. Well done for privatising this country Maggie, you whore.

It's not like we have even a choice in water service providers. If only we could change to an alternative, might force these money grabbing bastards into providing value for money to their customers for once.
