Sidmouth's salvage spectacular
0 commentsMany eagle eyed beachcombers have now started to notice bits and pieces being washed ashore and are attempting to salvage it.
What's more worrying is that the ship passed all it's safety examinations, some as recent as last month [1]. It's noticeable however that whilst the vessel is registered to a British firm nearly all it's inspections were carried out in Istanbul.
Around 200 containers were lost when the ship was grounded which have now started washing up on the beaches. Some containers held wine, perfumes and even BMW cars and motorcycles, so get down there quick before all the good bargains are gone and all that's left is the battery acid and fertiliser.
