Going down?

A gay couple were surprised yesterday when firemen freed them from the Guildhall lifts after they had hit the stop button between floors.

It is thought that as the lift is so quick to move between floors the couple had hit the emergency stop to give themselves a bit more time together.

Unfortunately for the lovesick guys the Fire Service were on the scene in no time and use their own tools to force open the doors before they even had a chance to pull up their trousers.

"We thought one of them was choking on something by the noises coming from the lift, but once we got the doors opened we got a hell of a shock" reported one fireman.
