Exeter is UK's number 1 getaway

It has been reviled that Exeter has become the number one location for the UK's criminals, once they've escaped from prison.

Last year more murderers were caught on the run in Exeter than any other city in Britain. Until recently the Algarve was the top spot, but more and more are heading to Exeter.

It's thought that the unique blend of modern doorways and good quality cardboard boxes is the draw, along with cheap Heroin prices.

Normally it is only local criminals that the police lose whilst transferring to and from the police station that are on the loose in the city, but recently criminals from as far away as Sussex have made it their home.

Citizens are reminded to be wary when in the city in the early mornings and late evening as that beggar you just passed was probably on CrimeWatch last night...
