Deathtrap to close on Sunday

Exeter City Council will be closing it's deadly tourist trap on Sunday after racking up a whopping 25 fractured bones and 53 hospital visits in total.

Even the chairman of the City Centre Consortium who thought the rink was a marvellous idea has come a cropper on the ice when she lost control of her left foot.

Alan Caig, head of the city's leisure and museums, had this to say: "We always knew that people would have to be careful and are really sorry if anyone has hurt themselves" adding that they had warned the RD&E about the likely influx of people who failed to remain vertical.

It's unclear if the Ice Rink will be returning next year, but if it does take a camcorder. You could get up to £250 for every clip shown on You've Been Framed.
