DCC want to ignore you
0 commentsIt was praised for its public consultation work by the Audit Commission, the independent watchdog on local government performance, last year, and is keen to look like it's listening to it's residents.
County council leader Brian Greenslade explained: "It's very important to us over the next few weeks that we hear from people in Devon about the type of things they want to see the county council spending their money on so we can ignore them completely and waste it on fucking up the roads."
People will also have the opportunity to send comments or questions to council leader Brian Greenslade, but answers will probably be short in supply.
Residents have until the 15th of February to submit questions, but the council's 'award winning website' makes it hard to find out how. We eventually tracked down the link, so go give them some grief...
