Cinema wars

The Odeon is having a Christmas facelift this morning, getting the lights in it's sign replaced, so it'll no longer be known as the "Od".

Whether this will be enough to lure curious film fans wanting to investigate the new Vue cinema back isn't known, but we think it's going to take a bit more than a few blue lights.

Whilst the Odeon charges a full £1.30 more than the new guys, they're going to have an uphill battle getting punters back through the door, although the Orange Wednesdays may give them at least a few people mid week.

We think they would have more luck if they had the refit inside, maybe relaxing the rules and allowing people to bring their shins in to the cinema.

Expect to see it looking purty some time tonight.
