On the positive side
I quite like the Heavitree Arch and have taken to showing my appreciation by braking sharply on Fore Street, going "Ooo!" and turning around to point it out to the driver behind me. This is particularly effective after dark when traffic is more likely to be moving briskly.
I wonder if you know of any job vacancies in which I could more fully exercise my developing PR skills?

What better way to enjoy the arch than by the light of the emergency services' flashing blues as they cut the wreckage apart to free the folks in the car behind. It's almost like they planned it that way.
