Letters to the Editor
News agenda
Has anybody else noticed how the internet and websites are being controlled by the system. The question has to be asked who are these moderators who limit comments, for example, on the BBC. As for a famous local newspaper they only print certain letters. When comments are made about divisive issues then it is decided that it would not be beneficial to the current climate for such a letter to be printed. We are apparently fighting a noble cause in Afghanistan, what about freedom of speech in our own country. If we are fighting this noble cause in Afghanistan then what sort of cause are we fighting in Iraq, a noble one?

Errr, well we normally tend to limit comments and letters to one criteria. Is it funny? Your letter, not so much.
This does bring up a nice opportunity to mention our story comments though. If you want to post a comment on any story simply click the link at the bottom of the page.
To post without registering you'll just need to prove you're human and your post will be sent through to us for moderation, however, if you register for the site your comments will appear straight away.
