Vive la revolution
How much longer can we be led by this insane government. Take Brown for example. How can he possibly talk about Robert Mugabe when he took over as result of a coup. Have I voted for Gordon? No. As for April 6th. Just wait until this wonderful socialist government abolishes the 10p rate of tax. I mean get serious, the poorest members of society will be hit the hardest. Mind you we could always go onto benefits and claim some sort of tax credit.
As for Exeter, take Princesshay. The City, which still wants to be a Unitary Authority wants to be seen as green. Can they explain why the shops in Princesshay seem to see it as being acceptable to keep their doors open and the heaters on! Just how green is that.
Oh, and let's expand Exeter International Airport. The airport actually being in East Devon but who cares?
The traffic is appalling. Yet it costs me £2.15 to travel by bus from the pool to the City centre. Yet, how much would it cost to drive my car, park it at Summerlands and not have to mix with the hoi poloi. This City is mad.
Finally, they want to be a Unitary Authority because apparently they managed to run the City for 400 years with no problem. Exactly who had the vote during this period, women! Would I have had the vote, yes but would you. I know you can say if it is so bad then why don't you leave. in answer I would say, never, ever, give up. We can make a difference.
