"Can I have my snake back Mister?"

Bradley Stoke may seem like an unlikely place to host a chain of snake thefts, but nine-year-old Jake Wright is painfully aware of the problem.

Three weeks ago a Californian king snake was stolen from his home and this week a Corn snake (pictured) was taken in a similar break in.

Oddly enough the thieves left a smaller snake called Persia in the tank at the time. Presumably they'll be back in another few weeks when it's grown a bit.

Jake appealed for information saying: "I just want the thief to bring Chaos back. I hope someone will recognise the snake ... and let me know where he is."

An honest thief? Stranger things have happened in Bristol.
