Cadbury recalls Easter eggs

Chocolate manufacturer Cadbury has initiated a product recall on it's Easter eggs as some mollycoddled children may not be able to handle the fact that the eggs were once near a nut or two.

Included in the recall are the flagship Cadbury Dairy milk eggs, Fruit and Nut(?) eggs and even the humble Mini Eggs egg.

Cadbury spokesman Tony Bilsborough said: "They were particular batches of chocolate made on a line that also makes products with nuts in them, therefore there is a small risk and we felt it was at least important that we let nut allergy sufferers know about it because you cannot be too careful."

Surely this was a missed opportunity. A chance to finally get rid of these nut intolerant folk and wipe this affliction from the planet.

Cadbury should have gone ahead with it's distribution, separate the wheat from the chaff and let us get on with evolving without having to drag the noisette afflicted along with us.

To be perfectly honest, if you DON'T know that a bar of Fruit and Nut contains nuts then you deserve to go into anaphylactic shock.
