Apple makes peace with Apple

Apple Corps and Apple Inc have had a long running history of hard feelings and embitterment, but a new deal between the two companies may finally stop the bickering.
Initially Apple Inc was permitted to use the Apple name as long as it stayed in computers and didn't branch out into the music industry. When they brought out iTunes the Ex-Beatles' Apple Corp started getting twitchy. The end result of an earlier agreement in 1991 was that iTunes was not allowed to be associated with the Apple name.
The new agreement means that Apple Inc will own all of the trademarks related to the name 'Apple' and will license the trademarks back to Apple Corps for their continued use.
