It's all gone dark and I don't know what to do!

Forget global warming, this is global darkening. For the past few weeks it has been getting darker much earlier in the day.

It was first thought that the sky had simply given in after Plymouth's little stunt [1] but rumours are coming in from the outside world that this is not just a local occurrence. Places as far away as Taunton-Deane have experienced similar events.

A lab assistant at Exeter University had grave concerns. "It could be we've strayed too close to a black hole" he said. "It wouldn't be the first time". Lecturers were sceptical however, explaining "It's probably just God having a laugh".

A curfew has been put in effect and all single mums have been advised to get their bastard children inside by 8pm.
