Man sells mum on eBay
0 commentsA story we made up 3 years ago has come true as a 38-year-old married father of two put his mother up on eBay for a whopping £1.
Our original story was based on a Google ad displayed in the companies Gmail service, but now an actual mother has been offered on the auction site.
James Doyan offered his mum, twice-divorced Sandi Firth, for sale, with bids starting at £1. Three bidders had chanced their arm, and the top bid was standing at a massive £1.50. She must be so proud.
The listing described the 63-year-old grandmother as "beautiful, great cook, educated, articulate, family focused, caring, priceless". Although apparently she does have a price. It's around £1.50.
The ad has since been taken down by eBay and Mr Doyan has been informed he cannot sell people on the site. It's unclear if he will be facing charges of human trafficking.
