Don't look like a dick on New Years Eve

Important news for anyone attending a new year's eve party or any kind of gathering where a countdown is involved. This year has an extra second at the end.

The International Earth Rotation and Reference Systems Service has decided that the year will have 31,556,927 seconds, instead of the usual 31,556,926, having taken into account all wobbles and fluctuations in the rotational speed of the earth.

So remember, this year it'll be "10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, 1, Happy New Year!"
