0 commentsIt used to be that you could rely on the Germans as being one of the few races that knew how to run a prison camp properly, but in this new world of political correctness gone mad they seem to have lost the plot.
Escapes are one thing, but posting yourself out of prison in a dirty great box isn't exactly a new thing for the Germans, but yet again, a man has posted himself out of chokey and back out into society.
Drug dealer Hans Lang, 42, was working late in the prison laundry when he hid in a large box of dirty laundry, which was then loaded onto a van and driven out through the gates of the prison in Willich near Dusseldorf.
In another blatant breakdown of German efficiency, the breakout was only noticed when the van driver found the empty box and realised the lock to his van had been picked from the inside.
