One dozy Pole has lost his driving licence after being found drunk in charge of a vehicle in Bialystok in the north east of Poland.

The poor chap was trying to do the right thing after a night of drinking and was unsure if he was over the limit or not so he decided to track down a police man to ask.

Unfortunately for Dariusz Mazowiecki, 33, the nearest police station was too far away to walk so he decided to drive there.

A police spokesman said "Officers did a breath test and found he was over the drink drive limit. He was arrested and was stripped of his licence."
