I am become death

20/10/08 - 0 comments

In a worrying new move, it seems that doctors in the UK are to be given guidance in how to recognise if someone has died.

Coming back from the dead is apparently quite rare, but experts feel that it can be rather ambiguous as to whether someone is suffering from a nasty case of death or not.

This new guidance now, for the first time, spells out when it is appropriate to declare someone dead. They define death as "the irreversible loss of the capacity for consciousness, combined with irreversible loss of the capacity to breathe".

The guidelines give no information about diagnosing the conditions of the living dead, the undead or even the Grateful Dead.

Would you like to know when you're going to die? For more information about when you will be shuffling from this mortal coil, only to be misdiagnosed by doctors as having a bit of a sniffle, check out your very own Death Clock.

For the record, removing the head or destroying the brain are the best way to be certain they're dead.
