0 commentsA 27-year-old man has been fined for smoking inside one of Holland's famous cannabis cafés, not for smoking a joint, but for smoking one that contained tobacco.
Because of the drug laws in Holland the smoking of pure cannabis is completely legal inside a coffee shop, however if tobacco is added to the mix it becomes illegal due to the new workplace smoking laws.
An Amsterdam police spokesman said: "The man was not fined for smoking a cannabis joint but for smoking. You can smoke cannabis but not tobacco in coffee shops."
Political correctness gone mad or have the Dutch lawmakers simply visited one too many cafés?
