I want you back for good
0 commentsAfter a 7 week limited trial run last year, chocolate maker Cadbury has announced the Wispa is coming back to the shelves of retailers permanently.
Back in October last year, some newsagents and shops managed to get hold of a limited amount of the chocolatey morsels, and were unable to obtain more from their wholesalers (or at least that's what our newsagent told us, I still think he was keeping a secret stash of them for himself - Ed).
Cadbury spokesperson Tony Bilsborough said: "Wispa is a true icon loved by its fans everywhere. [...] We brought it back temporarily to see if the desire was genuine, but fans are still rallying so we took the decision to bring it back for good."
Since last year the bars do seem to have gone up though. Originally priced at 16p, they went on sale last year with an RRP of 42p, and will be coming back at 45 pence per bar.
Still, well be getting a stash just as soon as we can. Yum.
