With teenage pregnancies on the rise an entire extra generation has come into existence. Where a couple would normally have a baby at or around the age of 30, teenagers having kids at 15 are becoming grandparents by that age.
The Optimum Population Trust says each new birth in the UK is responsible for 160 times more greenhouse gas emissions than a birth in Ethiopia. Not that hard to imagine really when all they have is a small hut to live in and a nice long walk to the nearest watering hole.
China had the right idea and have been limiting childbirth to one child per couple since 1979. Whilst the Chinese fine couples who have more than one child we propose any subsequent children are taken by the government and raised as elite ninjas, or used as slave labour to clean up after their parents following a rowdy night on the alcopops. Either that or some kind of cybernetic border patrol squad to keep all the illegal immigrants out.
If none of those options appeal then how about simply neutering them at birth to ensure they don't make the mistakes as their piss-head parents.
