Plymouthian runs himself over
0 commentsA Plymouth man was taken to hospital on Monday after he managed to run himself over with his car after trying to park it in one of the city's car parks.
Having parked the car in the car park behind Parkhurst Hill Accountants the man started to walk away before noticing it had started to roll down the incline towards a brick wall.
The chap bravely got in-between the car and the wall in an attempt to stop the collision but the momentum of the vehicle proved too much for him, leaving him pinned against the wall of a house and his beloved car.
Unlike our American friends this guy had at least gotten out of his car before throwing himself in it's path.
Users on the ThisIsPlymouth website have suggested that he may be able to sue Mitsubishi for damages, however if he simply forgot to engage the handbrake then he doesn't have a leg to stand on.
