Holiday makers win child in arcade
0 commentsMost arcades you go to are sure to have a prize-grab machine, where you pay upwards of 20p a go to attempt to pick up teddies and other fluffy animals with a wholly inadequate claw, but in Skegness you can actually win children.
OK, so he actually climbed in after failing to win a teddy and got himself stuck like a proverbial bear in a cookie jar.
When his parents realised and went to the arcade owner to free him, they were told that if it was in the machine they had to win it with the claw to get it out.
The parents of the child actually had to change a £20 note in order to win him back, although he did manage to grab a few other prizes on his way out.
Apparently they managed to get the claw round his neck a couple of times only to have him slip from it's flimsy grasp at the last second.
