Breaking in to the wrong house

Two Australian burglars made a big mistake breaking in drug dealers house when they found the place full of police officers in the middle of a raid.

The police were in the middle of a bust after it was alleged there was cannabis being grown using hydroponics in the house.

When the would-be thieves jimmied open the window they found the police officers who had just burst through the door to search for drugs moments earlier.

The startled burglars fled, but were caught a couple of days later, said Det Sen-Sgt Paul Cassidy, of Melton detectives.
