Iguana sneaks onto rooftop in Plymouth

Plymouth fire services seem to have very little to do at the moment as they have rescued an Iguana that was stuck in a chimney.

Taz, who has his own Facebook account, normally sun-bathes on the windowsill but this time decided to sneak up onto the roof.

When firemen arrived they were confronted with a pissed off Taz who was ready to defend himself.

"He whipped the firemen twice with his tail. It was quite embarrassing," said Mr Burton.

Taz was eventually rescued and his only injury is a broken nail. A Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesman added: "Fortunately, fire crews also returned from the incident unscathed."
