Top academics at Jerusalem's Hebrew University have revealed what we all thought all along, when Moses saw the burning bush he was actually tripping his nuts off.
Prof Shannon claims Moses had been drinking a potent brew called Ayahuasca, created with plants similar to Peyote, that grew in southern Israel.
He said: "They constitute the key ingredients of one of the most powerful psychedelic substances in existence."
Having tried some of the trippy mixture the Prof came up with his theory that at least 5 events in Moses' life, including the burning bush and the 10 commandments, were brought about by heavy drug use having had similar visions himself.
