New 'Death threat Elmo'

The latest Sesame Street "Elmo Knows Your Name" plush toy can learn a child's name and speak to them, however at least one toy has started issuing death threats to it's owner.

The toy is designed to connect to a computer and get new words and phrases updated to it, but after the batteries were replaced in one of the toys it's developed an entirely new vocabulary.

Now when the toy is squeezed it chimes out "Kill James, Kill James!" much to the disgust of the child's mother.

We all know that Bert is Evil, but this new move by cuddly character Elmo was entirely unexpected, even after the 'Tigger sex tapes' scandal.
