How not to rob a shop

An theif armed with a knife threatened staff in the St. Judes Co-op last night before cycling away and crashing his bicycle.

The moronic bandit, described as white, 5ft 7in tall, with a slim build and wearing a hooded jacket and dark tracksuit, then left the scene on foot carrying with him his booty in notes and coins.

Police are checking hospitals in the area to see if the simpleton sought medical treatment.
