Cloverfield will make you sick

Watching the new monster movie at the cinema is likely to make you sick, although for once it won't be by the exorbitant prices they charge to get in.

Produced by J J Abrams, the same guy responsible for Lost, the Blair Witch style filming could be too much for some viewers to stomach as it follows a group of 20-something beautiful people as we pray they get eaten by some unseen monster that's chasing them through Manhattan.

It looks like most of them will get away with their lives, but it's the shaky camera work that's likely to cause nausea, not the annoyingly perky young things on screen.

Reviewers in the US are reporting that people are leaving the cinema vomiting due to motion sickness caused by the wobbly camera-work, supposedly filmed while trying to flee the city.

Cloverfield opens on Friday if you think you can handle it.
