Olympic flame lit

In a grand opening ceremony yesterday the Olympic flame was lit ready for the 2012 Olympics in London.

The flame was lit by local scallies in an old warehouse ready to be transported around the world on the torch, by various celebrities, athletes and probably a few disabled kids, to make them feel more normal.

England has been a big exporter of fire, as long ago as 1996 we were exporting fire to the continent by train via the Channel Tunnel with great success.
