Cornwall's best beach gets own website

29/09/07 - 0 comments

Whilst some of the local inhabitants are reluctant to let the magic of electrickery into their homes in Cornwall, there are some enlightened souls who are trying to help the casual tourist with an on-line guide to Porthemmet.

The beach really is a place with something to offer everyone. Sun, sea, surfing and the local produce really are the best Cornwall can offer.

It has won numerous awards and is maintained by the Cornish Nature Trust, who keep the site up to the highest standard. For younger visitors there are beach bars, pubs and clubs, and for he more adventurous it's now the only beach in the UK to allow topless sunbathing!

If that's not your cup of tea, then the ruins of Saint Emmet's church can be found on Emmet's Head, a five minute walk from the beach.

To get there just head north up the A30 until you see the signs.
