Spiderpig hoax revealed

Social networking is only as fallible as the people socialising on the network, this is the reason that so much crap ends up on the internet. Now, the Facebook group named "If 100,000 people join, my wife will let me name my second child Spiderpig" has been revealed as a hoax.
Honestly, did anyone think someone could be that cruel. There are some folks out there with pretty bad names, Wayne King, Richard Head, but surely no-one would put their own child trough the torture of being called Spiderpig, could they?
"This was never more than a couple of bored geeks kicking around an idea" said Oli Young. "We hope you had fun. We really didn't mean to offend anyone and we hope you aren't too disappointed in the truth".
Mr Young has one daughter, called Amélie, but his wife is not pregnant and he says that he would never be so irresponsible as to call his child Spiderpig.
