World's press have sense of humour failure

14/08/07
Chav Hunting has long been a recognised pasttime, but now a group of public schoolboys have made a documentary video of their efforts to keep the population down the media have gone mental.

Roseanna Cunningham, a member of the Scotish Parliament for the Scottish Nationalist Party told the Sunday Times: "I suppose this video could be billed as the revenge of Monty Python's upper-class twits.

"Doubtless it is intended as humour and irony but it comes across as brash, crass and arrogant."

The three-and-a-half minute video was posted to YouTube and Bebo nearly a year ago, although they all the papers have only picked up on it in the last couple of days.

Whilst no actual Chavs were harmed in the making of the video, the public school Glenalmond, where it was filmed by former pupils, has really got it's knickers in a twist and is up in arms, demanding the video be pulled from the networking sites.

ITV and the BBC have got part of the video mirrored on their own sites however, enabling us to have our jollies at other's expense.
