Carrier bag for sale

In this time of recycling and environmental friendliness what better way to raise money than selling your old carrier bags on eBay?

You wouldn't have thought you could get much for an old plastic bag, but currently the bidding on one old style Tesco carrier is standing at £5.

Billed as a "100% authentic vintage Tesco Carrier bag" the seller hopes to make a few quid for his holiday, the bag "has been gently used, a few scrapes and a few holes but nothing major" and it "still has loads of life in it".

The seller is also prepared to send out a roll of clear selotape to patch the bag up with, if you don't want to keep it in it's original condition.
