Why you'll never watch Dr Who again

OK, so the last season has been getting pretty good. Episodes like "The Doctor Dances", "Girl in the Fireplace" and "Blink" have really raised the bar in story development, but the bad news is that Catherine Tate has been revealed as the new Doctor's Companion.

Whilst we can still look forward to a Kylie fuelled Christmas episode set on the Titanic, once the series starts up again next year the Tardis will be filled with the sound of "am I bovered?"

Yes Catherine, we most certainly are. Last Christmas you were about bearable as you waltzed about playing the only character you seem to know, but this is too far.

Russell T Davies has a lot to answer for, not least how the Master managed to get hold of Captain Scarlett's air base.
