Petty officers hate gnomes
0 commentsDevon & Cornwall Police are threatening to arrest a gnome impersonating a police officer near Liskeard in Cornwall.
The gnome has been warned serveral times over a 2-3 year period according to a police spokesman, and had has been proven to be a repeat offender, reportedly impersonating Officer John McLean, made famous by the documentary films 'Die Hard'. McLean had first noticed the mischievious little imp while returning home from his ex-wife's company chistmas party.
When questioned the gnome stated that he had been miding his own business and that "it just happened that [he] had a police uniform on".
Gnome fanciers around the country have banded together and produced a replica model [1], [2] and are urging people to join together to support their cause.
